La celeberrima band Gov't Mule torna con PEACE...LIKE A RIVER, il 12° album realizzato in studio dalla band e ideale seguito del loro album blues nominato ai Grammy® HEAVY LOAD BLUES. La scaletta di 12 canzoni vede anche la partecipazione degli ospiti Billy Bob Thornton, Celisse e Billy F Gibbons. PEACE... LIKE A RIVER - DELUXE EDITION (disponibile solo su doppio CD) include l'album originale di 12 brani più lo speciale EP Bonus di 5 tracce Time Of The Signs, che contiene quattro nuovissimi pezzi inediti e una versione alternativa (vocale) di "The River Only Flows One Way". Le tracce di PEACE...LIKE A RIVER vogliono esplorare tutte le facce di un quartetto poliedrico come Gov't Mule mettendo in piena luce le qualità grazie alle quali il gruppo Haynes [chitarra, voce], Matt Abts [batteria], Danny Louis [tastiere, chitarra e voce] e Jorgen Carlsson [basso] ha raggiunto la fama nel corso degli anni. L’album è stato registrato durante le stesse sedute di HEAVY LOAD BLUES presso The Power Station New England con il co-produttore John Paterno (già al fianco di Elvis Costello, di Bonnie Raitt, dei Los Lobos) insieme a Haynes. Gli album, tuttavia, sono stati realizzati in studi diversi, senza utilizzare la stessa strumentazione, preservando così un’identità ed un carattere precisi e distinti ai due singoli progetti.
