Durante la lunga e storica carriera di Neil Young, alcuni show hanno guadagnato una reputazione quasi epica, grazie alla pratica del bootlegging. Finalmente, anche il grande rocker canadese approda alla pubblicazione delle registrazioni pirata, disponibili in versione vinile. La prima uscita è partita con la pubblicazione del concerto Carnegie Hall 1970 il 1° ottobre 2021. Ora è la volta del concerto al Royce Hall presso l'Università della California di Los Angeles il 30 gennaio 1971, come data finale del suo tour americano da solista. Neil Young ha eseguito 16 brani e il brano The Needle and the Damage Done è apparso nellalbum HARVEST pubblicato nel 1972
